If you installed Windows 8 on the Acer Iconia you may have noticed an unknown device in your device manager if so, the unknown device may be the G-Sensor otherwise known as the Bosch Sensortec BMA 150. This sensor is responsible for automatically rotating the screen when you turn the Acer Iconia to portrait.
