There are now two USB 3.0 drives that have been certified for the new Windows To Go feature in Windows 8 Enterprise one being the Kingston Digital DataTraveler Workspace 3.0 and the other is the Super Talent 25GB USB3.0 Express RC8 Drive.  Users who successfully activated Windows 8 Enterprise may be looking to use this new feature as it allows you to essentially carry around a corporate version of Windows on a certified USB drive. If you search for Windows to Go on the Enterprise version you will see the program pop up to configure a USB Drive for this feature. Microsoft showed off Windows To Go when they announced Windows 8 a few months ago and we can see how this new capability will help support the BYOD movement that is going on in corporate enterprises.

Update: Looks like the drives are in beta and you have to get them direct from each manufacturer for now!

As more drives get certified we will be sure to update this list!

Hi, I’m with Super Talent. Thanks for mentioning the Super Talent RC8. Please note that the RC8 is also available in 50GB and 100GB capacities – they have all been certified. And the RC8 can currently be purchased from any of the distributors listed on our http://www.SuperTalent.com/WTG page. Thanks.

This page is incorrect. Kingston Digital DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0 is not certified for Windows to go

Looks like they changed the name to Workspace but that was a recent change as initially they called it the Data Traveler Ultimate thanks for checking in
