Last week I installed Windows 8 on my Acer Iconia Tablet and as expected, a few devices do not work. For me the two devices that need drivers are the Atheros Bluetooth Adapter and the Bosch Sensortec BMA 150 also known as the G-Sensor. If you have the 32-bit version of Windows 8, you can locate some Windows 7 drivers on Acer’s site that may help you getting your missing devices installed.

Look for missing Acer Iconia W500 Drivers on their support site.

    same problem for me
but the issue is not resolved on windows 8 64bit version…drivers does not work for now…

Even though you can install the G-Sensor driver it won’t work until you also install the Acer Device Control software. After you’ve installed the latter, the Win8 Keyboard will no longer show up automatically for website forms

I’m using a tablet W500. After installed win 8 Preview, i cannot install 2 drivers wireless. They’re “Wireless Lan Atheros” & “Wireless Lan Broadcom”, I downloaded them from driver produce of Acer.com. When I was installed WLan Atheros, it had a wrong say can not install in this OS. When I was installed Broadcom it had another wrong say error “setup.rul 355″.
Please, help me install 2 these Wlan. I need them to connect Wlan at school.
Anyone can help me, please sent to my email: hiro_2411@zing.vn, or chat with me by yahoo: hiro_2411. Thanks so much!!!

Bluetooth device (listed as generic Bluetooth device in device manager with exclamation mark) isn’t working at all with Win8Pro, and an error with existing Acer Iconia W500 downloads when attempting to install them.

it works for me although it shows up as generic try to just right click and telling it to update on its own
