Today during the Windows Phone 8 launch Joe Belfiore announced not only some of the new features of Windows Phone 8 but also some of the cool new apps that are coming to the platform. Probably the biggest announcement was the fact that Pandora for Windows Phone is coming to Windows Phone 8 in early 2013 along with free music streaming for 1 year. Along with Pandora Microsoft Confirmed that apps such as Temple Run, Urban Spoon, Jetpack Joy Ride, and Angry Birds Space. We can also expect to see Words with Friends and Draw Something too. Microsoft touted that with the Launch of Windows 8 the platform will have 46 of the top 50 apps on other platforms.
Personally I do not use Pandora and I am still pretty jaded they took so long to get to the platform however I realize that it is still popular so I am happy overall. I also love the fact that Microsoft announced it in a big way by adding free music for a year.
