Inevitably you may have an accident with your new smartphone and end up dropping it which usually scratches the phone. When Nokia Lumia 900 built the shell of the Lumia phones, the color of the phone goes all the way through which is what you are seeing in the pictures. Often, the device is painted so a scratch really shows up as the color underneath was usually different. Here we show you some shots of the scratched Lumia with the color showing up underneath the surface.

However when stepping away from it a bit it turns out to be something most people could actually live with

So of course you will want to protect your Nokia Lumia 900 with a case however, if you do end up scratching your Windows Phone, don’t fret because chances are it won’t look as bad on the Lumia line as it would on other smartphones.

      Considering that it hit a concrete surface from about 5 feet in the air and rolled a few times it held up quite well. Had it been my Titan it probably would not have held up quite as well and the dents/scratches would have been far more evident. Apparently I’m the only one at Wingadgetnews who habitually drops there phone…which is why I bought a Ifrogz case for my phone,stay tuned for our review of it.

    Drop your iPhone 1 foot onto concrete and it shatters. Unless your demanding and extremely forceful your also out $199.00.

    I know from experience because I dropped my 1st iPhone 4 while getting out of the car. The phone feel one foot and it shattered the glass. I wonder how many iPhones have suffered a similar fate.

    One thing is certain, the glass created an overnight industry of repair shops and consumers are paying repairs while Apple profits. A phone should not break as easily as the iPhone does.

      My wife’s old iPhone had the same misfortune as my daughter was playing with it. She was one at the time so not that far from the wooden floor but man that thing was ruined. I will give Apple credit for replacing it for free.

    Did the same and the back of the iPhone 4 shattered. Nice job Apple…looks cool and sleek but inevitably, all phones get dropped.
