Today RIM Announced that CEOs Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie are stepping down and moving into other roles. Rim has been in trouble with the Blackberry line of phones for quite some time and we have suggested that RIM should adopt Windows Phone much like Nokia did.
Late last night there were stories about a 100 million dollar Windows Phone marketing campaign between Nokia and Microsoft which turned out to be quite inaccurate. The real number is significantly larger as the figure did not include marketing world wide and moreover, the US spend alone is double that amount at 200 million dollars.
