The Windows Phone App, gMaps PRO has been updated to version 1.16, which fixed a bug with logging into Google Latitude, new features, and other bug fixes. I just recently decided to test out gMaps and saw the Latitude login issue so it is nice to see the team turned around a fix already.
Popular cross platform app WhatsApp for Windows Phone has been updated to version 1.6 with an extensive list of new features and bug fixes. As more smartphone users look for alternatives to text messaging, WhatsApp was a welcome addition to the Windows Phone App lineup in the Marketplace.
Nokia began the rollout of their update to fix the battery issue seen on the Lumia 800 Windows Phone 7 device. This issue essentially prevented the phone from using the full battery. In Nokia’s blog post they also mention that the roll out will be phased much like the Mango rollout last year.
