Today the AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 started arriving at customers houses and one of the two I ordered came in as well. As much as I just want to go sit in the corner and play with the latest Windows Phone I took some time to take some unboxing shots so our readers can enjoy it with me. At first gland the Lumia 900 and the Lumia 920 look identical however, once your eyes come into focus you quickly see the difference in size and design. Unfortunately, my Lumia’s wireless charger did not come at the same time but it should be in tomorrow.

The Box for the Lumia 920 follows the same design as all the other Windows Phones

The contents of the Lumia 920 Box are what you would expect with a charger and sync cable, the phone, a SIM Card key and the manual however there was also a few NFC enabled card which will take you to the app store for Windows Phone 8.

The charge port has been moved to the bottom of the phone to allow for more standardized accessories and as you can see the screws are exposed which to me gives it a bit of a rugged sturdy look but I can understand some who do not like it.

The left side of the Nokia Lumia 920 has nothing on it while the right side has all the controls you need such as the volume rocker, power and of course the camera button.

I love the way the phone feels in my hand and while so many reviewers complain that the phone is think and heavy I like it. I have no problem holding the device in my hand and can see my self carrying it all day with out issue. Nokia stepped things up over the Lumia 900 with a more glossy finish, bigger screen and cool features like NFC and wireless charging so I am really looking forward to using this device everyday.

“I have no problem holding the device in my hand ” -> Chris, an 17″ notebook would fit comfortably in your hand. :)
I’m looking forward to getting a 920 when Telstra here in Australia make them available, hopefully by the end of the month.

I’m waiting to pick up an unlocked grey one. It always annoyed me that ATT insisted on having its own special packaging – except for the iPhone of course- it’s so mid to low tier quality. Nokia’s usual boxes are really nice.
