The Windows Phone App, gMaps PRO has been updated to version 1.16, which fixed a bug with logging into Google Latitude, new features, and other bug fixes. I just recently decided to test out gMaps and saw the Latitude login issue so it is nice to see the team turned around a fix already.
Even though Google Support of Windows Phone has seen new services added slowly to the platform, it has not stopped developers from bringing things faster to the platform. My early impression of gMaps pro is it looks to be a solid app for Google users on Windows Phone.
The gMaps Pro Change Log is listed as:
gMaps Pro v1.16 includes completely new features as well as various fixes and improvements of existent functionality. We also have fixed critical issue with latitude authentication.
What’s new :
- Latitude authentication hotfix.
- New live tile alert integrated with Google Latitude. You will like it!
- Details place and local search card
- Directions list (for active route)
- Various UI improvements and small bug fixes.
You can grab gMaps Pro from the Windows Phone Marketplace.
